Eaves Hall Wedding Photographers – Adam & Alex
We always love returning to be Eaves Hall wedding photographers, and Adam and Alex’s gorgeous summer wedding in Lancashire gave us the chance to do just that!
Eaves Hall is a magnificent Georgian mansion that sits in 13 acres of immaculately kept gardens and grounds that overlook the beautiful Ribble Valley. Built in 1864, this stunning Grade II listed house has been beautifully renovated and restored to retain all of its luxurious period charm. Adam and Alex couldn’t have chosen a more stunning location for their summer wedding.
On the day, we headed over there early to catch those all-important morning of the wedding images. The respective wedding parties were getting ready in two different suites within Eaves Hall. And as there’s two of us, we didn’t miss a thing.
Alex and his wedding party got ready in Eaves Hall’s mini mansion before moving over to the main building. Alex’s wedding party consisted of him, his mum Nicola, his dad Jock, best man William, Maid of Honour Francesca and bridesmaids Lucy, Lottie, Charlotte and Kathryn. The atmosphere was great and there were some impressive co-ordinated night wear and a bit of bubbly to start the celebrations early!

Adam’s wedding party were in another Eaves Hall Suite and consisted of Adam, his mum Sandra, Maid of honour Marisha, bridesmaid Chelsey, page boy James and flower girl Skylar. We got some fun images of Marisha helping Adam to get his kilt on and straightening his socks!
Now we must mention the very talented hair and make-up artist from by Laura Mayers, who had everybody looking their very best for the day.
Now, it’s always lovely to meet and work with other suppliers in the wedding industry and this was certainly the case working with Lewis from 240 Films who was there to capture the wedding film.
The outdoor ceremony was held on the lawn in Eaves Hall’s beautiful gardens. It had been decorated exquisitely with soft green sashes on the chairs and plants lining the white aisle. All thanks to the clever work of florist Flowers with Passion and the venue dresser from Creative Venue Stylist.
Alex was walked down the aisle by his dad Jock, and looked amazing in a tartan suit. Adam walked down the aisle behind traditional piper Michael from City Piper arm in arm with his maid of honour Marisha. Adam looked fantastic in traditional Scottish attire. He was also walked down the aisle by the couple’s dog Winnie, which was a lovely surprise for Alex. Winnie was of course thrilled to be there! There was also live music from the Didsbury String Quartet
Storytelling wedding photography at Eaves Hall
After a lovely ceremony conducted by That Celebrant Guy, Adam and Alex walked back down the aisle a married couple to whoops and cheers from everybody. Then there was a fun confetti moment that we captured perfectly.
We then got some great images of the entire wedding party on the steps in front of the house before everybody enjoyed an elegant drinks reception in Eaves Hall’s beautiful gardens. We continued to get some great group images of the Adam and Alex and of the wedding party, as well as candid images of guest enjoying themselves and their stunning surroundings.
With guests happily catered for, we quickly whisked Adam and Alex away for a few minutes for a mini photoshoot around Eaves Hall’s gardens. We got some gorgeous images. Here, take a look!
Meanwhile guests were being seated for the wedding reception that was being held in Eave Hall’s magnificent dining room that had been dressed exquisitely for the occasion. When Adam and Alex arrived, guests cheered heartily and waved rainbow flags and hand fans. The atmosphere was amazing.
Speeches were before food and were very well received. And were followed by a delicious meal prepared by Eaves Hall’s talented team of in-house chefs. After the meal many guests spilled back outside to enjoy the last of the sunshine and we took some really fun colour smoke bomb images with the wedding party. Here, take a look!
Creative and natural Eaves Hall wedding photography
With the sun at its lowest creating a soft hazy glow, we also got some romantic sunset images of Adam and Alex. Here, take a look!
Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a truly unique three-tiered wedding cake with horns! It was the clever creation of Susie from The Cake Pavilion. The was followed by the most fabulous first dance for Adam and Alex. These guys were not on the dancefloor alone for long as their guests were itching to join them. They were definitely up for a party and live wedding band Manhattan were right there to make sure they got one. There was also a fun photobooth from West Yorkshire 360 (who doesn’t love a photobooth)
We bravely took to the dancefloor ourselves and got some really fun dancefloor images. And the image of everybody on the dancefloor enjoying themselves were the perfect images to close the story of Adam and Alex’s amazing day.
A wonderful wedding full of love and laughter at a simply stunning Lancashire wedding venue. Congratulations guys and thank you for having us there. We loved it!
