We are Jo & Jon full-time Manchester wedding photographers. We are so lucky to make a living doing something we love and so lucky to get to shoot Manchester wedding photography as the city has the best venues and the city’s landscape always makes a fantastic backdrop in all of our images.
Our photography will not dictate your wedding day and our documentary style to shooting weddings means that we will unobtrusively tell the story of your day as it unfolds. (Not constantly stopping your wedding to get you to pose for contrived shots!)
After all, it is your day and we want you to be able to give your guests your full attention. You will see from our portfolio and blog that we love taking images of people enjoying themselves.
Yes, there are the significant points of the day that we will photograph and you may want specific group or portrait shots (and we will take those images efficiently ensuring that you and your guests all look fabulous!)
But in our experience it’s the pictures you haven’t planned for, like the heckled speech, the playful bridesmaids, the grandad on the dancefloor, that really tell the story of your wedding day.
The end result is a beautiful set of timeless images that not only show you how looked on your wedding day but remind you of exactly how you felt in each moment. Good wedding photography can do that.

Pre-Wedding Photography
Our pre-wedding photography manchester sessions are a great experience for those couples who are a little camera shy.
The shoots are a great addition to your wedding package and it’s the perfect opportunity for us all to meet up for a little bit of fun.
The key to creating natural photos is to let us direct you, we will see a beautiful backdrop and give you minimal direction, the rest is up to nature.
The pre-wedding photography sessions last about an hour and you can choose a location that has some meaning or let us give you some ideas.
There’s no need to worry about what to wear as it will all depend on the location you have picked and what the weather is like on the day.
All the photos from the pre-wedding photoshoot are available for you to download from your own private online gallery.
