Sale Family Photographer – The Eccles Family Photoshoot
The best thing about being a Sale Family photographer is getting to capture family photoshoots with lovely people like the Eccles Family. Christina and Neil chose Walkden Gardens in Sale and it was the perfect location.
Christina and Neil’s baby son Henry is just six months old. A great age for booking a family photoshoot. Babies develop so quickly in the first year so it’s always a good idea to take the time to create a keepsake.
Walkden Gardens in Sale is 5 acres in size and was inspired by the famous 20th century garden at Hidcote Manor in Gloucestershire. It is characterised by long alleys with vistas, a series of smaller gardens rooms like the Japanese Garden and the Fuschia Garden. It also has the impressive Theatre Lawn where people can enjoy outdoor productions and screenings.
The beautifully maintained gardens are surrounded by tall beech hedges and a wealth of different trees that do a great job of blocking out the noise of the traffic. Giving the residents of Sale a beautiful oasis in heart of the town.
Creative and Natural Sale Family Photographer
For the first part of the photoshoot we headed to the botanical gardens. The lush giant exotic green leaves made the perfect backdrop in all of our images of Christina, Neil and baby Henry.
We were going for a natural unposed look of a family day out which is just as well as Henry was keen to look everywhere except at the camera. We find that engaging children and babies with play with their parents relaxes them, this in turn relaxes their parents so that once everybody is relaxed, we can take authentic images that really capture the personalities and essence of the families we work with. And as you can see from these images of Christina, Neil and baby Henry, nothing ever looks posed or forced.
The photoshoot lasted 30 minutes and cost the family just £65.00. We captured over 100 photographs so that’s a real bargain.
Beautiful Family Photography in Sale
We then took some images in front of the historic Dovecote building which was salvaged Dovecourt Hall. It was carefully taken down and reconstructed at Walkden Gardens. It has been awarded Grade II listed status by English Heritage and today serves as the focal point of the gardens. It made an interesting backdrop when photographing Christina, Neil and baby Henry.
We then moved onto the serene and pretty Japanese Garden to take some images of Christina, Neil and baby Henry. The images of them on the low wall are amongst my favourites of the day. Here take a look!
We had a lovely time with the Eccles family and managed to get some really beautiful images that we know Christina and Neil are thrilled with. Images that they can treasure and then one day pass on to baby Henry.
