Heron House Registry Office – Jessica & George’s Elopement Wedding
We loved shooting Jessica and George’s Heron House Registry Office wedding photography. These certainly are strange times for couples getting married during a pandemic but Jessica and George’s wedding was evidence that intimate weddings can still look amazing.
We met up with Jessica and George before the wedding and did some group photos and took them around Manchester’s historic Library area for some portraits, the perfect blend of old and new architecture made a great backdrop in our images. We especially liked the romantic portrait images of Jessica and George leaning against a brick wall. Here, take a look!
One of the many things we love about being Manchester wedding photographers is that when the location of the wedding is very central brides and grooms often walk to their venue. This gives the wedding a fun and relaxed start and gives us the opportunity to get some gorgeous images of our couples before the ceremony has even started.
Natural Wedding Photography at Heron House Registry Office
Jessica looked amazing in her green polka dot dress (we loved the co-ordinated nails!) and George wore a very smart navy three-piece suit with a green co-ordinated tie. They couldn’t have got it more right for an intimate city centre wedding and both looked so comfortable, happy and entirely themselves.
Wedding guests consisted of Jessica’s mother Janis, her Auntie Pam and her uncle Mark.
The ceremony took place in Heron House Registry Office in Manchester. Jessica and George hired a light and spacious room with a fantastic artistic feature wall that made a great backdrop in our images. After the intimate ceremony that despite their small number was filled with love and laughter, we took Jessica and George for another portrait session, this time around Castlefield.
Castlefield is a relaxed area of Manchester perfect for walking around. Filled with canals, waterfront bars, urban bridges and green spaces it makes the perfect location for a portrait session and shows Manchester’s canal side at its very best. The images of Jessica and George on the rusty canal bridges were amongst our favourites of the day. Here, take a look!
Creative Covid-19 Wedding Photography
At the end of the mini photo session the guests greeted Jessica and George with a fun confetti moment on a bridge before everybody headed to The Wharf Pub for a drink.
We followed and got some great informal shots of the wedding party having a drink before moving onto the wedding meal.
Covid-19 wedding photography is certainly proving to be a challenge but as you can see from the images of Jessica and George’s day, booking us for just one hour to capture your intimate ceremony can still produce a collection of amazing images.
Congratulations to Jessica and George for getting married and managing to work within these tight restrictions to create a memorable, relaxed and fun wedding day and thank you for allowing us to capture it.
