Kimpton Clocktower Wedding Photographers – Shiv & Shaym
As award-winning Manchester wedding photographers, we get to work at the most stylish wedding venues in the city and this is certainly the case when return to capture wedding photography at Kimpton Clocktower.
Kimpton Clocktower Hotel is a five-star luxury hotel in the centre of Manchester. Housed in a magnificent terracotta Grade II listed Victorian building, it exudes glamour and luxury so was the perfect choice for Shiv and Shaym’s wedding.
When we arrived, we caught up with Shyam who was looking very smart in a petrol blue suit with a grey waistcoat. We took the chance to get some images of him at the entrance of Kimpton Clocktower as well as some images of the guests as they arrived.
The wedding ceremony was held in Kimpton Clocktower’s magnificent ballroom. It has the perfect blend of original features with modern touches to ensure luxury and comfort. And it is flooded with tons of natural light thanks to its large period windows. Us Manchester wedding photographers can never have too much natural light.
Experienced Kimpton Clocktower Photographers
Shiv looked stunning in a one-shoulder white fitted dress and walked down the aisle behind the sweetest flower girl and page boy, with her parents walking behind her. There followed a really special wedding ceremony that included a lovely reading.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed sweets and refreshments, and we took our chance to get some romantic portrait images of Shiv and Shyam with the hotel’s charming interiors making a perfect backdrop. We also took some great group images of the wedding party.
For the wedding breakfast, everybody sat back in the ballroom and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea. After which Shiv, Shaym and the wedding party all changed into traditional Hindi wedding attire and enjoyed a Hindu ceremony that included the exchanging of garlands known as ‘Jai Mala’ and special guests made food offerings to Shiv and Shaym. We love capturing Asian wedding photography as the rituals and bright colours really suit our style of documentary wedding photography.
Afterwards, we whisked Shiv and Shaym away for a few minutes to get some romantic images of them on Kimpton Clocktowers majestic winding staircase. The images we got were perfect. Here, take a look!
Storytelling wedding photography at Kimpton Clocktower
Evening celebrations were held back in the ballroom that had been dressed ready for a party. There was a checkerboard dancefloor, delicious Indian food treats and elegant cocktails. We took some great images of Shiv and Shaym’s guests.
Celebrations began with some very well received speeches, this was followed by a romantic first dance for Shiv Shaym. It wasn’t long before the dancefloor was full with multi-generations all dancing together which is always a joy to see. And with the sun now set and the party in full swing it was time for us to take our leave.
