Mitton Hall Wedding Photography
As award winning Lancashire wedding photographers, we’re lucky enough to frequently shoot wedding photography at Mitton Hall. Jen and Luke chose the perfect venue for their autumn wedding.
On the day we got there early so we could catch up with Jen and her bridal party, I say party it felt more like an army with Jen, her mum Maxine, Luke’s mum Denny, Jen’s grandmother Cheryl, bridesmaids Jessica, Hollie, Georgia and Laura and flower girl Sophie. Add to that make up artist Lydia Sage and Hair stylist Nichola Reid and that tells you just how spacious the bridal suite at Mitton Hall is!
Jen looked amazing in her dress that she bought at Ava Rose Hamilton. It had beautiful lace detail with a gorgeous fishtail shape that gave Jen an amazing silhouette that looked great in all of our images. We captured a really special father seeing the bride moment. We also loved the bridesmaids’ dresses in navy, they looked so elegant.
We also caught up with Luke before the ceremony and got some great images of him too. Luke looked very smart in a petrol blue three-piece-suit. His grooms party consisted of him, best man Alex, Jen’s dad Darren and groomsmen Caolan and Nathan.
Experienced Mitton Hall wedding photographers
The wedding ceremony was held in Mitton Hall’s luxurious, bespoke wedding space simply known as The Party Room. It has elegant interiors, and had been dressed exquisitely by the clever people from Creative Events. The conservatory area enjoys direct access to an idyllic garden terrace and the party room enjoys breath-taking riverfront views.
The conservatory area is where the ceremony took place and Jen and Luke took their vows in front of a stunning life-size wreath of wedding flowers. The abundance of windows flooded the room with tons of natural light that we played with to create even more beautiful images of Jen and Luke’s wedding ceremony. There was musical accompaniment by a harpist.
After the ceremony, there was a fun confetti moment on the terrace before everybody enjoyed an elegant drinks and canapes reception in the sunshine.
We then took our chance to capture some amazing images of the wedding party in front of the impressive house with the red autumn leaves adorning the exterior of the house adding another layer of colour.
Whilst guests happily mingled outside, the party room was being transformed into an elegant space for the wedding reception. With white linen, elegant flowers with candelabras on each table. It looked amazing. There was some very well received speeches by best man Alex, Jen’s dad Darren and by Luke as well as a delicious wedding breakfast meal.

Everybody then spilled back outside to enjoy the last of the days sunshine and we got the chance to capture some wonderfully candid images of Jen, Luke and their guests enjoying themselves.
Now when it came to evening entertainment Jen and Luke were clearly leaving nothing to chance. They arranged for a magician and a caricaturist that both delighted guests as well as a saxophonist and a DJ to make sure the dancefloor stayed full all night. And it did, Jen, Luke and their guests were really up for a party!
