As Cheshire photographers we always love it when we’re asked to photograph proposals at Alderley Edge or any of the other beautiful locations in the North West. Being let in on such a special occasion always feels so exciting.
Alderley Edge is of great archaeological and geological significance. It has a rich history full of legend and folklore and its beauty has inspired writers for generations. It has the most stunning views across the Cheshire Plain. Another reason why proposals at Alderley Edge are great is that there’s an abundance of fantastic restaurants and bars in the village for a celebration afterwards.
On the day, we photographed the moment from a distance in true paparazzi style. Here take a look!
Photographed proposal at Alderley Edge
We always love photographing proposal photography in Cheshire. What could be more special than capturing the moment when two people decide to spend the rest of their lives together?
Kayla and Antony have been best friends for three years and only both recently became single at the same time. They’d been together four months when Antony proposed and Kayla said yes.
We know that arranging a proposal can feel a bit daunting. We are here to guide you through every step of it from our initial chat, to planning and on the day. Having photographed couples all over Cheshire we’re always happy to share our knowledge with you to help you to create the perfect proposal plan. What can we say? We’re old romantics at heart!
We’ll talk about the kind of proposal you had in mind and then we’ll advise you on the best way for it to be photographed. Whether it’s a paparazzi shot like Kayla and Antony had, where we discretely photograph the exact moment of the proposal. Or an arranged photoshoot for you and your partner where you surprise them with the proposal. Or a family photoshoot where the two of you surprise your loved ones with news of your engagement.
Proposal photography in Cheshire
After the proposal we were able to step out of the shadows and as soon as the congratulations were done, we did a mini photoshoot of Kayla and Antony. We kept things natural and unposed. Just images of a couple in love enjoying one another’s company. We got some fantastic images that we know Kayla and Antony are thrilled with. Here, take a look!
Our couples usually go on to use their proposal images on social media when announcing their engagement and in their wedding stationery.
So, if you’re currently planning your proposal and are thinking about having it photographed then get in touch. We’d love to hear about your proposal plan…
