The Barn at Morley Hall
One of the best things about being Greater Manchester wedding photographers is getting to capture wedding photography at The Barn at Morleys Hall. Victoria and Nick chose the perfect venue to celebrate their wedding.
The Barn at Morleys Hall is a gorgeous converted barn with high ceilings and a picturesque balcony. It combines rustic charm with a modern aesthetic, making it perfect for celebrations all year round.
Victoria and Nick had an intimate wedding abroad so had planned a large celebration with friends and family at home and The Barn at Morleys Hall more than delivered.
We got there early so we could get some images of the barn all dressed and ready for the party. It looked amazing with beautiful white trees on round tables with crisp white linen. State of the art mood lighting was complemented with fairy lights wrapped around its wood beamed ceiling and elegant and soft candlelight. It looked amazing.
Experienced The Barn at Morley Hall Wedding Photographers
Nick and his grooms party were enjoying an early beer and all looked very smart in traditional black-tie suits.
Victoria arrived looking absolutely stunning in a fitted strapless dress that exquisitely fanned out giving her an amazing silhouette in all of our images. She looked like a real fairy tale bride. Her bridal party looked elegant in white satin dresses and Victoria and Nick’s young daughter made an adorable flower girl.
We took some great images of the wedding party outside the barn. Of the groom’s party, the bridal party, of Victoria and Nick by themselves and with their young daughter. The black and white palette giving the images an uber-chic, classic and timeless quality. Here, take a look!
As guests began to arrive, we took some great candid images of everybody congratulating Victoria and Nick and enjoying arrival drinks. It was a mild evening so many started the night enjoying refreshments on The Barn at Morleys Hall pretty courtyard.
Storytelling wedding photography at The Barn at Morley Hall
Entertainment on the night was in the form of DJ Josh from Arkaid DJ who got the party started and, as is usual at family friendly weddings, it was the youngest guests who were first drawn to the dancefloor.
There was a pause in the music for Nick and his best man to make speeches, both of which went down really well with everybody. This was followed by a romantic first dance for Victoria and Nick.
They weren’t alone on the dancefloor for long. As experienced Greater Manchester wedding photographers, we’ve seen our fair share of packed dancefloors but Victoria and Nick’s wedding was on another level. Three generations fought for space to cut some shapes and there was a live saxophonist who went down a storm.
Dancefloor images really suit our style of storytelling documentary photography, and we were thrilled with the fun images we got as they really conveyed the energy and vibe of the night. Here, take a look!
