The Castlefield Rooms wedding photographers – Andrea and Corey’s Day
As busy Manchester wedding photographers, we get to work at the very best wedding venues in the city, and this is certainly the case when we return to capture wedding photography at The Castlefield Rooms. Andrea and Corey chose the perfect venue for their spring wedding in Manchester.
The Castlefield Rooms are an event space in heart of Manchester City Centre offering stylish contemporary light filled rooms for weddings. Their chefs at Albert’s Shed create amazing wedding menus and their wedding team arrange every detail to ensure that weddings at Castlefield Rooms are always amazing.
On the day, we headed over to catch up with Andrea and her bridal party so we could capture those all-important morning of the wedding images. Andrea’s bridal party consisted of Andrea, her mum Sue, her daughter Macey, her stepdaughter Scarlett and bridesmaids Hayley, Sophie, Tessa and Dena. Everybody was in high spirits and co-ordinated robes!
We arrived to find Andrea in the capable hands of make-up artist Laura Ireson, her hair having already been beautifully styled by hairstylist Jessica Dickens. Andrea looked amazing in a gorgeous spaghetti strapped dress with lace detail and a kick out mermaid shape that gave her an amazing silhouette in all of our images. Andrea bought the dress at luxury bridal boutique Dream Dress Bridal in Stockport. And she complemented it with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers in soft pink and cream with green foliage, the clever creation of Hannah Brewer from Two Petals Florist, who did all of the flowers on the day.

Before heading to the ceremony, we captured a really special father seeing the bride moment with Andrea’s dad Eugene. Andrea’s bridesmaids looked very elegant in sage green dresses.
The bridal party then headed The Castlefield Rooms for the wedding ceremony with Andrea and her dad travelling in style in a white Rolls Royce from Aces Car Hire, and the bridal party travelling in a fun limousine from Big Slo Limos.
The wedding ceremony was held in The Brindley Room. This elegant space has exposed brick walls and loft style beams. Traditional yet contemporary it’s a great room for a wedding ceremony, especially as it had been dressed exquisitely by Extra Fleur Event Styling.
Once at The Castlefield Rooms we had a chance to catch up with Corey who was looking very smart in a grey check three-piece-suit. His grooms party consisted of him, his best man Matt and groomsman Andy.
Storytelling wedding photography at The Castlefield Rooms
After a lovely ceremony, Andrea and Corey walked back down the aisle a married couple to applause from all of their guests. Everybody then headed outside for a fun confetti moment and we took our chance to get some great group images of the wedding party whilst guests enjoyed a drinks reception outside making the most of the mild and dry weather.
With guests happily catered for, we quickly whisked Andrea and Corey away for a few minutes for a mini photoshoot at The Castlefield Basin. The images we got were amazing, here take a look!
The wedding breakfast was held in The Merchant Room. This stunning modern room has wood floors and ceiling to floor windows that provide unparalleled views over the Castlefield Basin. It had been dressed exquisitely with clean white linen, flowers and candles on the tables. Guests were seated first so that Andrea and Corey could receive a rapturous welcome.
Speeches were before food which is always a good idea and were delivered by Andrea’s dad Eugene, by Corey and by groomsman Andy. The speeches went down a storm with tears of joy and laughter all around. There followed a delicious wedding breakfast prepared by The Castlefield Rooms very talented team of in-house caterers from Albert’s Shed. We also want to mention the wedding cake as it looked delicious. It was a three-tier naked cake and was the creation of Libby’s Cakes.

When it came to evening entertainment, Andrea and Corey had thought of everything. There was a sweets station for the young (and not so young) guests, LED LOVE letters on the dancefloor along with strings of fairy lights and a photobooth (who doesn’t love a photobooth) provided by That Prop Guy Ltd.
Evening celebrations started with a cutting of the cake followed by a romantic first dance for Andrea and Corey. Not that these guys were alone on the dancefloor for long, their guest were really up for a party and it wasn’t long before the dancefloor was full. And we took our chance to get some really fun dancefloor images.
With the party well underway, it was time for us to take our leave. But before going we wanted the perfect images to end with. We quickly whisked Andrea and Corey outside and got some romantic images of them set against the city after dark all lit up in front of them. Here, take a look.
The perfect images to close the story of Andrea and Corey’s Day. A wonderful family friendly wedding full of love and laughter at an uber stylish city centre venue. Congratulations to Andrea and Corey for getting married and thank you for allowing us to tell the story of your day. We loved it!
