Abi & Brad’s Stunning Stirk House Hotel Wedding
As a Stirk House Wedding Photographer, we get the joy of capturing some of the most memorable celebrations in one of Lancashire’s most beautiful venues. Stirk House really is a dream location for weddings, with its rolling countryside views, ivy-covered stone walls, and warm atmosphere that makes every guest feel right at home. Abi & Brad’s big day was no exception – it was full of laughter, emotion, and those little moments that make a wedding unforgettable.
Morning Prep and Excitement
The day began in true style, with Abi and her bridesmaids enjoying fizz in their matching PJs. Yes, the morning even included a few giggles in the bathtub with champagne glasses in hand, the kind of fun, candid moments I love to capture as a wedding photographer at Stirk House Hotel. Meanwhile, Brad and the boys looked sharp in their tuxedos, with some serious James Bond vibes once the sunglasses came out.
Abi looked incredible in her wedding dress from Ava Rose Off The Peg. Her story is one of my favourites, she actually won her gown in a Facebook competition when Ava Rose first opened. Talk about fate! Her dress was elegant, timeless, and suited her perfectly.
The Ceremony and Styling
The ceremony was filled with emotion as friends and family gathered to watch Abi & Brad say “I do.” The styling was beautiful, with flowers by Flowers by Eldwick Po adding the perfect finishing touch. Hair was styled by The Professionals Bingley and makeup by Amy Lauren MUA, making sure Abi and her bridesmaids looked flawless from morning until night.

Golden Hour Magic
One of my favourite parts of being a Stirk House Hotel Wedding Photographer is taking couples outside for golden hour portraits. The venue has endless backdrops for photos, from the charming stone buildings to the sweeping countryside. Abi & Brad’s portraits were full of love and laughter, and the warm evening light was absolutely perfect. Later in the evening, Brad and the groomsmen celebrated with cigars, which made for some classic nighttime shots too.
The Party
No wedding is complete without an epic party, and this one didn’t disappoint. Tom Stone DJ kept the dancefloor full all night, while guests also enjoyed his photobooth, the perfect mix of fun and keepsakes. The wedding cake by Baked by ELR was both beautiful and delicious, with elegant white florals tying everything together.
Why We Love Photographing Stirk House Hotel Weddings
Stirk House has such a unique charm, and every wedding here feels different but equally special. As a Stirk House Hotel Wedding Photographer, I know all the best spots for portraits, how to make the most of the light throughout the day, and how to capture the little details that make each couple’s day truly theirs. Abi & Brad’s wedding was an amazing reminder of why this venue is such a gem in the North West.
Congratulations again to Mr & Mrs Davis, and thank you for letting me be a part of your wonderful day!
